For Ten Weeks in a Row ABC 'World News Tonight' Has been The Most Watched News Show
Move over CBS Evening News, ABC World News Tonight with David Muir is Number One!
During these times of non-stop COVID-19 and other bad economic news, most people are tuning into ABC's World News Tonight as their nightly news show of choice Ten Weeks in a row.
ABC had an average of 8.44 million total viewers for the week of Aug. 3-7, topping "NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt," which delivered 7.46 million viewers. CBS finished third with 5.26 million viewers for "The CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell." The Hill

Disclaimer: We are an independent website not affiliated or told what to say by either political party.Sometimes it's not what the news is about but how it's reported that can make viewers turn away from one particular news anchor in favor of another. As a long time viewer of CBS News we can report first hand that there is some truth to this.
When you hear a News Anchor express bad news with a certain amount of glee in their voice night after nigh because it fits their political agenda it's time to change the channel.
What happened to News anchors simply reporting the news without emotion and not interjecting it with their own personal biases? When did the News media become puppets for the puppet masters and affiliate themselves with political parties that try and control what they say and how they say it?
Once upon a time most all news agencies actually did a great job with news investigations and they brought us the truth no matter how shocking or damaging the truth was. They let the chips fall where they may. And they did not sugarcoat the news even if it made an affiliated political party look bad.
Now you have the political establishment sending out a threatening warning letter to their media partners warning them what they should not say about their political Vice President candidate. And telling media outlets that they would hold them accountable for any sexist or demeaning comments.
That's all fair and well. But where was this same group when Sarah Palin was running for office. Another women who not only her, but also her children were disparaged and dragged through the mud. Now the same party that laughed at Sarah night after night on Saturday Night Live, wants to put a muzzle on our news media. Basically telling them what they should not put any negative comments even if its the truth about their candidate. And their compliant, obedient media lapdogs will no doubt obey.
This is a slap in the face to news media outlets everywhere. And any self-respecting news agency that bows down to this type of political extortion, and threats should take a deep look inward and possibly be looking for another line of work.
This is why many people no longer trust or respect many of the major news outlets. Newspapers across the country are going bankrupt. People are tired of being treated like they are dumb sheep and fed their daily ration of BS by a manipulated and dishonest news media.
Any news agency that works with a political party to disseminate information that favors a particular political party should be forced to disclaim this multiple times on their show. It's no different how paid political advertisements must disclaim who is paying for their ads.
Why are news media outlets allowed to spout out content that degrades one political party in favor of another without any affiliation disclaimers?
It is way past time our news media is held to a higher standard. This will take stronger laws and leaders tough enough to make the necessary changes from both sides of the aisle. Only then will this country ever have any chance of coming back together and uniting as one. Instead of being constantly manipulated and forced to hate on each other. And constantly being divided every time we turn on the daily news.
