TiVo Stream 4K to Compete W/ Roku & Fire TV

TiVo Stream 4K Will Compete W/ Roku & Fire TV

The Streaming War is about to get more crowded in 2020. Because a new TiVo Stream 4K Media streamer will be filling up store shelves everywhere soon to compete with Apple TV, Roku and Fire TV.

The new TiVo Stream 4K looks more like a Cromecast dongle than a traditional table top media player or streaming stick. This could be another game changer which will see both Roku and Fire TV going head to head with TiVo for cord cutters attention.

This new TiVo streamer will contain Google's Android operating system on board, so it's very likely it won't be as restrictive. And since it uses Android, users may be able to use this for other popular APKs like Kodi, and several others which offer a ton of free TV content.

This new TiVo media streaming device will be available some time in April and it will cost $50. This places it squarely in line with both a Roku Streaming Stick+ and a 4K Fire TV Streaming Stick. The Apple TV 4K and Nvidia SHIELD Pro cost 3 to 4 times more but offer much higher performance than any $50 media streaming device.
