Netflix to Increase Price of Streaming

Netflix Users will Soon See Another Price Increase

Netflix Price Increase

Netflix users in U.S. who subscribe to either the Standard or Premium plans are going to be paying more soon. The Netflix Standard plan ia going to cost a $1 more each month. This brings the cost to $14/mo for their HD Plan, which lets you stream on two devices simultaneously.

Their top of the line 4K Premium plan will receive a $2 a month price increase. This plan allows 4 streams at once and it will now cost $18 per month.

Their entry level plan, which only allows one stream at 480P, will not see a price increase and it will remain at $8.99 per month.

More Interesting Content

Netflix has been on a bit of a roll lately in adding some pretty interesting content. Their hit series Squid Games has gained the largest numbers of viewers ever and it broke all kinds of records. This TV series may have been the contributing factor to the record number of new subscribers flocking to Netflix lately.

They also recently released the Top 5 Streamed movies on their streaming service. With some movies on the list, streamed over 282 million hours.

While everyone hates to see prices increase. Quality content costs money, and with the latest price increase along with some interesting content, it won't hurt that much. And it's not nearly as bad as gas almost doubling at the pump.
