New TCL Roku Soundbar

TCL is Launching a new Alto R1 Soundbar in 2021 that will Wirelessly Connect with Roku

Wireless connectivity makes things very simple, and this explains it a litte more.

TCL:

- "TCL has teamed up with Roku to make upgrading any TV with premium audio easier than ever by launching the new Alto R1 soundbar, the company’s first entry into “wireless” bars and the first soundbar to use Roku proprietary WiFi AUDIO streaming technology. This new feature completely eliminates the need to use a cable when connecting to the TV. Rather, simply plug the soundbar power cord into your wall outlet, turn it on and the TCL Roku TV will automatically generate an on-screen guide for set-up," said TCL.

During CES TCL announced their plans for a wireless soundbar made to connect to Roku media players and smart televisons. This soundbar model will be the Alto R1.

They also announced the release of an Alto A82i which will have Dolby Atmos, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple AirPlay 2 and will wirelessly connect to an Apple TV. This will be available sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2021.

This soundbar will also be Spotify compatible and unlike the R1 soundbar which does not have one, the A821 does come with a wireless subwoofer. Prices and specs have not yet been announced.

A third model, the Alto 8e has also been announced but detail are still scarce on what this model will offer.

If you have flat TV, you probably know the built in speakers are nothing to write home about. But once a soundbar is wirelessly attached, it opens up an entire new world of listening pleasure.

Do yourself a favor, grab your mask and visit a local Best Buy to listen to their soundbar display. This is really a great way to listen to the various options available.

If TCL builds their soundbars like their Roku TVs. Together they shoud make your home entertainment a lot more pleasant.
